Last night was the opening of Altar Boyz, and IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!! I would encourage everyone to go see it this week end. It was well worth the cost of the ticket and the trip to Peoria. It was hilarious and the singing was awesome, especially that of our own Jeremy Kelly!! Tickets are still available!!!

I know I'm a little late in this post. Got a chance to see this play last Saturday and the material was hilarious and the performers were great. I have to say, I have seen plays in Chicago or "professional tours" at the Peoria Civic Center that don't stack up with the talent that I see at the plays at Eastlight, Peoria Players or even at Stark County High School.
Great job Cast of Altar Boyz and especially Stark County's own Jeremy Kelly.
And thank you MBK for making us aware of it.

Having been involved with the Peoria Players production of Evita many moons ago, I can say they are a top notch semi-professional Theatre group. I applaud anybody that has the guts and the stamina it takes to prepare for a performance at that level. Not only do they sacrifice their time to the tune of hundreds of hours a production they do it without .ing about the NO pay...long hours and little recognition. They do it because they "like" it. Hey...what an idea.....doing something positive because they enjoy it....crazy concept. As I have said before Stark county has many things to be proud of...mainly the way people treat each other... It is unfortunate a minority always have to focus on the negative. Too bad.....they have no concept of what they post about...or what they are missing. Jim E
