Free Events for Children at Proctor Cycling Classic Classic Kid’s Events Just one of the Classic Highlights (Peoria, IL Thursday, May 21, 2009) The Peoria Bicycle Club and Proctor Hospital are pleased to announce the 22nd Annual Proctor Cycling Classic Criterium on Sunday, June 28, 2009. The action takes place at Fulton and Jefferson Streets downtown Peoria. Again this year Classic Kid’s races will begin at Noon during the Criterium. There will be big wheel races for children three and under and two cycling events for children age four, five, six, and – seven, eight and nine. • All events take place on the frontage road area of the Peoria Civic Center, facing Jefferson, near the Cycling Classic start/finish line at Fulton and Jefferson. • Training wheels are allowed. • Participants must wear properly fitted and adjusted helmets. Helmets will be supplied to those without helmets, free of charge and while supplies last. • Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. and closes 15 minutes prior to race time. • Race day registration only. Parents/guardians must complete a registration form. • This event is free to spectators. Free parking available. Food and refreshments available.
