When I was uptown everything looked the same. In what part of town did the "big cleanup" happen? None so blind as those who will not seeMeaning: Nobody is more blind than the person who decides he does not want to see. Often used in reference to prejudice and intolerance. Note: none (pronoun): no person; no one | blind (adj.): unable to see; not having the power of sight | will (verb): intend; desire [this is "will" used as a main verb, not as a modal auxiliary verb] | Also: "There's none so blind as those who will not see." Dump trucks and pickup trucks full of debris were removed from all area's of town. Tree's were trimmed and cut down. The workers were fantastic... You would have known this if you had bothered to drive or walk around Toulon on Saturday. "There's none so blind as those who will not see."

"blah blah trees were cut down". I thought young libs were supposed to LUV trees. I have a hard time believing the girls, girlie-boys, intellecturals, and/or commutters that do such trendy and stylish "clean-ups" to make themselves "feel" good...would be able to cut down a tree without someone being killed. It was either amazingly good luck...or the trees were only sapplings. ;D Where exactly were these trees cut down? I would like to see the size of the stumps so that I can sort it all out. This is not a game of hide and seek... take off your blinders... take a walk... check out your neighbors back yard... or the one on the next block ... or the one on the other side of town. You just might be surprised at what the fine people of Toulon did in just one day. Show up next time to help and you might just enjoy getting to know some of the people that are trying to make a difference unlike someone that likes to use word that are intended to ignite rather then unite.
