The above post from yet another young, lib'rul illiterate again demonstrates how throwing the taxpayer's money to the lib'rul socialist schRoolhouse is worse than just flushing the money down the toilet.
Not knowing how to spell such words "grammar", "can't", "don't", and "their" is just plain illiteracy, as is not knowing of punctuation.
Not having any knowledge, whatsoever, of the meaning of the First Amendment, nor knowing how to spell "American" is part of lib'rul socialism's "CHANGE" to further dumb down what was America.

"I know why" lib illiterates are unemployable. It is because they cannot spell or construct a simple sentence.
A potential employer would throw an application with such illiteracy and lack of intelligence into the trash.
Uncle Sugar takes their application for welfare and puts them on the public dole.
This CHANGE in society is why the taxRECEIVERS now greatly outnumber the taxpayers that have not yet fled the country, and why the nation has all but completely fallen because of the socialist party's welfare state.
H. Ross Perot told what the "sucking sound" is before many of today's young libs were born. The "sucking sound" was not caused by proper use of the English language, as some youngsters seem to believe.

What I see as an outsider coming into this conversation is the amount of bullying that is being done. It is no wonder the children today see no problem with it. The parents who are talking in here, or most of them, sound like they were the ones in high school who did the bullying. It is hard to believe anyone who was on the other side of the bullying growing up would turn out to be the kind of sad people who would ignore the problem being put forth and start calling names and pushing people around. I feel bad for your kids to be raised thinking that this is the right way to talk to people. I am concerned for the children in Stark County. I hope that your children brake the cycle. As far as the real issue here, I feel bad for your child. As a teacher I see kids get away with stuff all of the time. When you try to step up and do something about it you are told basically to mind your own business or it is your job. If I didn't have my own kids to provide for I would fight the system as long as I could. I hope you and your son the best. Maybe you could go to the media see if any of them are willing to look into it. It is a long shot but better than sitting around listening to jerks run at the mouth. GOOD LUCK! P.S. I do agree with the dumbing down of the people. Look into the ingredients listed in any diet soda. Aspartame look into it. Research it. Learn something! www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/

I have to say that if concerned parent came in to my business with a complaint, and conducted herself and spoke, in the same manner as her post, I would have a hard time taking her seriously.
God Forbid if she would write me a letter that stated her concerns! I would probably have to throw it in the garbage.
Sorry if some of you don't like it, but in this world, you need to present yourself well, if you want to be taken seriously. I KNOW this is just a blog board, but if you want others here to understand your concerns and complaints, then you should at least present them in a way that we can all understand. Perfect grammar and spelling is not required, but at least make it so that most of us can understand, without trying to decider each and every line.
That is not to say that concerned parent may not have a legitimate complaint. She may very well have. I have heard other complaints from parents and staff about the new principal. Doesn't seem that there was a constant ad in the paper, posting one position or another, apparently because no one can stand to work with her, and her overbearing controlling attitude toward students and employees.
The high school doesn't seem to be doing much better. I mean calling the police on a regular basis? What is going on here? Perhaps there needs to be a complete overhaul of the district administration. Talk to your school board members.

Well here we are again..another weekend with people bashing every word one types in hopes to get answers. I would like to point out to those that maybe new to this board that... "concern" has to be overlooked if, you want answers to specific questions. He replies to every post to spew his own agenda, mostly in a conservative way! I just picture him being a very older man sitting around drooling and mumbling to himself with no one paying much attention, going on with their lives. The funny thing is how this guy uses teenage jib talking and blahing about things that only some younger person would have knowledge, too???
First for this post on Stark county elementary started on June 18,2009 by I am assuming 1jmichael at 10:16am but, first post was from concern Where you been and then finally the subject matter from concerned parent at 10:16am, seventeen minutes later? You don't suppose they're from the same person??? One college educated person calling himself a black celebrity, typing as if, he's not been educated and then next a republican that voted for John McCain.....LOL....."concern in disguise"?
To offer you a bit of advice: you lost the only thing here that's important....your child "DID WRONG" by getting out of his seat on a school bus while I am assuming the bus was in motion. If, this was the case he should have been punished regardless of all the other happenings...It is against the LAW, not a school rule, but the LAW(.) period

You are right the principle is very controlling. Second From What I know the parent conducted themselves very well they called with an issue. The parent received the call from the Principal calling there child liar screaming at the child till he was crying. OH yes there was a witness to this event. The parents and the witness were in shock. parent went to school only to get a sorry for yelling at you guys and your son I was wrong (i being the principal) She insisted because of a hands on both kids would have to sit 15min. That is the part that is wrong you don't yell at a young child like that to learn your wrong the actions already taken was punishment enough. That was how the parents of this child's felt. But the school would not listen There is even a witness that Can attest to the call that Wallace gave them a call informing that it was done she did not have to talk to them about there child and yelled at them it was her school her policy and no one would change it. so how do you handle that. These are parents that have to deal with the school every day because they have another child that has a long term illness diabetes. I know she threatened to have them arrested because I had a friend who said they cops were there that morning. this is a shame they had to go through that. But this is what I know from the story there are very quiet people who keep to themselves. I do know they went to the School board. I heard from the wittiness that was going to tell board what she herd the principle say but the board would not let her in after the president of the board said to bring her or anything to back there case. Perhaps those parent should post this on here. Yes I do know the parents I do know there story well. I do I feel for them and they tell me there was another set of parents there that night hopefully they put there story out it will make you wonder who watches our kids at school. But remember these parents tried everything to get a resolution but when the board president lies to them like there witness is telling me they didn't have a chance to put there side of the story fairly. I hope those parents see this post and put there story on here in there words. Please Grammar has nothing to do with this this is about a little child who has never been in trouble always listen and respects authority well. What I hear the parents wanted was an APPOLIGY FROM the principal admmiting she was wrong they way they were treated by her and that she does have to diccsuss there child on any issue in the school and the board to assure it will never happen again. There wittness said the board president ctalked on the phone and said the board found she acted according to policy

I had a friend who had their child discipline for hugging a friend. the "no hands" policy don't you know. I agree that wrestiling and rough housing need to be controlled but hugging or holding hands? What, no pats on the back for a job well done or a highh five from a friend for winning? Come on. Touch is important to a child, it helps with acceptance and approval.
Some say we need to stop the bullying in our schools. We can't stop our children from bulllying one another when some of the staff and administration are guilty of bullying themselves. This goes on in every level of our school system.

I am appalled at the grammar on this thread. It is embarrassing. If you are smart enough to know how to operate a computer, then learn to use spell check. These parents that are complaining about the principal obviously have NEVER gone to school and therefore don't know school etiquette and disciplinary procedures....the principal truly cares about these children and deserves our respect, she has earned it. Parents, you might want to check out adult education classes at BHE or get your GED.

In the schools and this town. It all depends on who you are. It's really sad but true.If you have a name that grew up in this town or some how works for Stark County. You can get away with just about everything. One of the bus drivers with a known last name would let certain kids eat, call names, stand up on the bus and they would not get introuble. You let my kid or someone that she does not like or with a not so common name do it,they get yelled at. The school was told about it on several occasions ,from many parents and they have done nothing.I now take my kids to school.I refuse to let some (B) be nasty with my kids.

To the one's that are Always putting others down for spelling and other nasty comments are the ones that make there own kids mean and are the cause of some the problems we have in the schools. I told my kids they might not be the most popular or have the best things or given everything they want, but 1 thing i have tought them is to respect others. Because 1 day those kids will grow up and be working under my kids while my kids are a owner or running a big company, because RESPECT FOR OTHERS GETS YOU FURTHER IN LIFE THEN A (SA).
