Wondering if something like this will go over. If I read the rules correctly, we should be OK naming names as long as it is a good thing. Now lets see if there is enough interest.
I think it would be great to start a thread that gives kudos or compliments to people. I'll start one with my next post.

thank you to Sara Miller for remaining sooo very positive throughout all the negative posts re: the Rebels. You are setting a great example for your kids and lots of adults. Also for organizing the care packages for the team along with lots of other moms. Great job!!!! You too Mary Beth. Keep up the good work!!!

I agree this board is a great idea and the Miller mom did a great job ! This is just what Stark County needs positive feedback. Thanks to Sue Turnbull for the bus I am so glad I didn't have to drive there at night!

Kudos to whomever donated the money for the bus that took the boys to the game. Also to the fire department and the police, who escorted the team bus into and out of town ;D

I must echo the other thank you's that have already been mentioned!
Also, thank you to the moms, who serve spaghetti dinners every week, and wash dirty smelly uniforms every week. I know I am one of them, but that just makes me appreciate what each one of the other moms do!
Thank you to the crew who comes in and cleans up the field after every home game. Our filed looks terrific, and Saturday's game really made me appreciate what we have here at home.
Thank you Pete Johnson, for your announcing the games, and supporting this team so very loyally.
Thank you to the band, the cheerleaders and the dance team, and their sponsers, for making each game so much fun!
And thank you to the coaches and team, for allowing us to be a part of the great Rebel football experience.
Sorry, did I leave anything for anyone else???

Thanks to Tony Lee, Andy Porter, Don O'Neill, and everybody who kept the Stark County JFL going strong this year. To all the gals who helped with the paperwork and ran the concession stand. To all the parents who helped with the chain gang and everything else for the cause. Last but not least to all the coaches and medical personel that were there throughout the season. Without all of these people we wouldn't be able to provide the kids with a fun and enjoyable season or the opportunity to participate.

Thank you to all the gracious mothers who supported the Rebel Care Packages. I think they turned out great. And by the way let me include the father who ran himself all around the school saturday morning at all the mothers commands. THANKS MR. KELLY!
What a program this has turned out to be with all the positive coming to the front line!

I want to thank all those that have been mentioned: Sara Miller for organinzing the care packages; Mary Beth for organizing the decorating along the streets; Sue Turnbull for getting the charter bus for the parents (what a relief!), and for taking the fabulous senior pics; the anonymous donor for the boys' bus; the parents that put up the senior signs every week at Terwilligers curve; all the parents that cook and feed those boys every week; the parents and former coaches that have encouraged the Rebels every week and in their earlier years; the boosters that get shirts, etc.; Darla Ewing and helpers for painting the field this week; and many, many others that are not mentioned. Go Rebels!

Kudos to the pep band and Mr. Cinnamon. They don't get a charter bus, they don't get snacks, and they don't get signs or an escort-but they are big on talent and dedication. Thanks guys.

I just attended the Salute to Veterans program at the Stark County High School and I have to say Kudos to Amy Milroy and the junior class who put this program on. It was a moving and entertaining evening. The kids are not required to be there, they WANT to be, and it shows! Many have friends and family who have served, or are serving in the armed forces. A surprise was a letter read from a SCHS graduate who is currently in Iraq. Mrs. Milroy and her class put together a really nice evening. The band was fantastic! the dance team and honors choir did a terrific job and every speaker did so well! And what about Vern!! It was great to see him have the courage to get up there and sing, and how nice his football buddies gave him a standing ovation! This was Stark County High School at it's finest!
A BIG thanks to all our veterans. Words cannot express the gratitude we owe you. One of the presentations tonight said something like "for quiet streets, and free speech, for baseball games...etc THANK YOU!" I was moved to tears, several times, tonight when I thought about all you have given and sacrificed for our freedom. It doesn't seem like enough, but all I can say is THANK YOU!!! ;D
