I am thankful for public libraries, full of free materials to keep us occupied, informed and entertained on these long, cold, winter days.

This is a little late, but kudos to the high school chorus for continuing with the show even when the risers fell out from under them. Great job!!!!
Kudos Mr. Cinnamon and Mrs. Rourk for the great show. Thank you for all the hard work with our children.

I am thankful for school bus drivers who take resposibility for our chidren everyday, and drive them to extracurricular activities on roads that are sometimes less than favorable. I know I would be nervous to be responsible for all those young lives everyday, in this weather, and they do a great job every day! Thank you School Bus Drivers!!

Thank you mbk! Sometimes it seems like a thankless job that no one really recognizes you for. But its worth every minute of unruly children and nasty weather to know that I'm getting those kids where they need to go safely. Thanks again

[glow=red,2,300][/glow]You know until I started reading this message board it never occured to me how many people feel unappreciated. What an eye opener. We used to hear many a bus driver story when our kids were little. They loved their bus drivers, except when they got in trouble. Good job mbk for bringing it to our attention. Keep on keeping us thinking.

I would like to say a "BIG THANK YOU" to the Wyoming City guys for all of their hard work. They do an awesome job plowing the streets and you are always willing to help out when you can and in any way that you can. Very dedicated workers! ;D

There is a very good working relationship between the communities in our rural area, and it is great how our neighboring fire departments drop everything to help each other out on a moment's notice. Kudos to all our mutual aid partners: Bradford, La Fayette, Toulon, Wyoming, Princeville, and all the rest. Where would we be if we couldn't count on our neighbors?

You really missed an entertaining evening if you missed the girl's basketball game Monday. The team won, the dance team put on a really nice halftime performance, the pep band sounded awesome, and Brittany, Taylor, and Jasmine showed their singing talents, again, while performing the National Anthem. Don't you wish you had been there?

Kudos to Mrs. Milroy and Mr. Loane and any other teacher that allowed their students to watch the swearing in of President Obama and his inaugural speech. This was history in the making and of profound importance and I for one am very appreciative that you recognized that fact.
