Kudos to the high school fans who dressed up to support their teams in the regionals and sectionals!! It was great fun to see you dressed up and cheering for the girl's and boy's teams! Also Kudos to the group of young men who supported their favorite players by painting their chest and wearing their number throughout the season! It was very entertaining to watch you all and your enthusiasm was contagious!! Hope to see you back next year!!

Kudos to my friends MBK and RK for paying for a soldiers meal last night. We all are so blessed to have these brave young men and women going to war for us and we should remember them daily, pray for them daily and when given the chance, acknowledge them and their bravery!! God bless them all.

Thanks Mary, but really doing such a small thing for someone else, made us feel good, and hopefully showed him that there are so many people who appreciate what he does for his country. The restaurant was packed and he had no way of knowing who took care of his bill. Kudos to our military and their families, they are true American heroes!!

I would like to send a big thank you out to Wiliam O. Turnbull! He has two grandsons who played on the State Runners-up Stark County football team, and out of the goodness of his heart, he made a very nice wooden holder for each player to display his State Medal. They are very nice and each one has an engraved plate on it. What a kind thing for this man to do. Both of my boys came home from school with them yesterday and said "look what Luke and Zach's grandpa made for everyone on the team!" They promptly put their medals on them! Wish I could get them to be so eager to do homework! I know that the boys on the team really appreciate this gift. Thanks Again to Bill Turnbull sr.

I just want to say - Kudos to you all. When I started this back in November, I wondered if it would be sustainable. Because of all of you - it has over 100 posts and has been read over 5000 times.
While the 'chatter' site is important for many things including debating and discussing differing opinions on subjects, I am so happy we have been able to keep a section for the positive things that our county is all about.
Proud to be From Stark County and proud to say Kudos to you all!!!

Kudo's to you for starting this thread. In this vast negative wasteland, this positive thread is refreshing!

The musical at the high school is going very well. We can be proud of the talent we have in this county. Lots of hard work has gone into the musical and it shows.

I agree on the musical.
It just amazes me the talent that come through with the Stark County Musicals. I have seen High School plays/musicals in other towns, and they are just that - High School level, which is perfectly fine and what I expect. For many years, the ones I have seen at Stark County rival (at the very least) some large community theatre productions and to be honest, I have seen a couple of things in Chicago that were not as good as the work done here in Stark County.
AMAZING - good job to everybody involved.
